Guitar Repairs at Faultline Music
Whether its a simple string change a complete setup or a custom modification, Faultline repair gurus Mark Patterson and Rick Mullikin are here to help diagnose and correct the problem you are encountering.
If you purchased a guitar at Faultline and have any questions give us a call at 226-7400. We offer a free setup with your purchase and are always happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your instrument. In need of string change or simple truss rod adjustment? Just drop by the store. We can usually have your instrument back to you the same day.
Setups and Custom Mods
Mark Patterson is our go-to guy for instrument setups and custom modifications. Mark is known around the county for what has become "The Mark Setup". He is the king of finding the perfect balance of low action, proper string tension and excellent playability. Mark also performs most of our custom modifications, guitar routing and extensive woodwork repairs.
Mark is an expert at retrofitting guitars for the Earvana Compensated Tuning Nut. He has done more Earvana installs than any other guitar tech in the country. Faultline has over 300 happy Earvana customers and the number keeps growing.
For guitars requiring extensive work, Mark will bring these back to his secret repair shop. Mark does pickups on Tuesdays and Fridays. Bring it in for pickup Tuesday- get it back Friday. Bring it in for Friday pickup and get it back the following Tuesday.
Electronics Repairs
Rick Mullikin covers the Saturday shift at Faultline and is our electronics expert. Whether you need a jack soldered or a funky pickup switch change - Rick is the guy! Series, parallel, bridge and neck pickups - you name it - he'll wire it up!
Amp Repairs
For tube amps we recommend contacting the manufacturer first. We carry a full selection of preamp and power tubes as well as some hard to find fuses. We do not currently repair any solid-state amps. Please contact the manufacturer for all solid-state and warranty repairs.
